Desiree Irwin
Bio

Desiree Irwin is a  world class musician/singer/songwriter from Alberta, Canada. She moved to Chicago after landing a gig with Buddy Guy. She toured with him in Europe, Canada and the United States, sharing the bill with the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Etta James and other blues greats. She has appeared on television shows like Much Music (Canada), Good Morning America, the German version of Soul Train, Sudwest Funk, and was included in an article about Buddy in Rolling Stone Magazine.
She has explored all facets of the music industry. She became the musical director of Tony and Tina's Wedding (Chicago's Longest Running Comedy), managed a recording studio, had her own wedding and corporate party band, played in other people’s wedding bands, booked other entertainers, and has toured with Frankie Avalon. Desiree has moonlighted as a solo piano player on a few cruise ships and is a dueling piano player and partner in Chicago Dueling Pianos. She is a songwriter and has released 2 albums. You can catch her on her "day" job in one of Chicago's local piano bars or travelling the world with Howl at The Moon on Norwegian Cruise Line’s latest ship the “Epic”.
